An American Jewish philosopher, who drew up the plan to divide the Middle East and saw the necessity of attacking the Arabs.
He was one of the most important advocates of the war against Iraq, he saw the importance of igniting the region with wars to reshape it, and he did not die until he saw the Arab countries ignite with chaos from the east to the west.
Bernard Lewis is an American Jewish philosopher who studied the religion of Islam and attacked it relentlessly, despising the Arabs, saying: The only way to stop them is to hit them with a stick between their eyes.
He was born in 1916 in London, to a Jewish family, and studied languages, including Arabic and Hebrew. He later mastered Turkish, Persian, and Latin, and obtained a doctorate in Islamic history, and participated in World War II with the British army.
After the end of the war, he returned to the university to complete scientific research and was the first foreign researcher who is granted access to the Ottoman archives.
In 1970 Bernard moved to work in America, lecturing at universities, and there he obtained US citizenship. He strengthened his relations with US Senator “Henry Jackson” He later became the founding father of the neocons.
After a while, Lewis turned from a university researcher to a politician, and he established a strong relationship with the “Shah” government in Iran in 1970, and the military dictatorship in Turkey in 1980. He was in contact with the former president in Egypt, “Sadat“, where he carried a message from him to the Zionist entity “Israel” about peace between the two countries.
In 1990, he published an article in an American newspaper entitled “The Root of Muslim Rage,” in which he explained what he called the conflict between “Islam” and Christianity”, and concluded from it that the two are involved in an eternal struggle!
His ideas launched a new wave of American wars in the Middle East – it started in Afghanistan, but Los wanted to go further, and he used his articles to promote the overthrow of the “Saddam Baathist” regime in Iraq, but the disastrous results of the war in Iraq prompted him to disown them.
This wretched old man continued to support the criminal Zionist entity “Israel” tirelessly, denying the right of the Palestinians to establish their state, despising the Arabs, and describing Muslims with terrorism!.
His personality had supporters in the West and opponents in the Arab countries, but the most dangerous matter was, his inspiration for several projects to fragment and divide the Middle East.
It began in 1978 when the US National Security Adviser “Brzezinski” discussed the idea of the collapse of fragile states in the Middle East, calling them the “arc of crisis” and at that time the criminal “Lewis” presented his vision and said that the Arab countries had lost their job as political entities and that Arabism had ended.
In 1992 he proposed the idea of dividing the Arab countries into sectarian and ethnic grounds! By igniting wars in Turkey, Qudus – Jerusalem, Iraq, Pakistan, Egypt, the Balkans, Yemen, and Afghanistan.
Lewis’s vision was an extension of an old Zionist project aimed at making “Israel” an imperial state. The breakup of the great countries around them, this dream that the Zionist theorist “Udd Yanon” set out in the early 1980s and called for the fragmentation of Iraq and Syria into regions according to the religious minority, and the Sinai island into the Zionist rule, and he expected that “Syria” would be divided into an Alawite state on the Syrian coast, And a Sunni state in Aleppo and Damascus, and a Druze state in the occupied Golan and northern Jordan.
Although these plans remained locked up for the past two decades, they returned to the forefront again, during the Iraq war, in conjunction with the American administration’s project known as the new “Middle East”.
In 2006, a retired US Armed Forces officer, Ralph Peters, published the partition plan in the US Armed Forces magazine, titled “Blood Borders,” and included a new ethnic and sectarian division of Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and then Iran, with the aim of creating a new independent state for the Kurds, Balochis, and Shiites ”.
In 2008, journalist Geoffrey Goldberg published the partition vision, coinciding with the US Senate discussion, a non-binding plan to divide Iraq. Jeffrey divided Sudan’s maps for a northern and southern country three years before the division actually took place.
He shared with Ralph Peters the same vision for dividing Saudi Arabia! With the re-division of Syria, Iraq, and Jordan and between them a state for the Syrian and Iraqi Shiites and placing the island of Sinai under international control.
In 2013 the New York Times published a controversial plan. The latter encompassed a map that divided 5 Arab countries into 14 countries, each of Syria and Iraq was divided into 3 countries, while Yemen and Libya were divided into two countries, and it was suggested that Saudi Arabia be divided into 5 complete countries!
For many years, Western decision-makers denied the existence of any plans to divide the Middle East, describing it as a “grand conspiracy” theory.
However, these divisions are transformed into reality today, as a result of some civil wars in our Arab regions, which imposed a frightening, new, and renewed reality, renewing the debate about the legacy of the old criminal Lewis is an American who died after he saw the Arab countries ignite in chaos from east to west.
